Registered Nurse
Neighbourhood Medical is a modern private billing general practice located in beautiful Toowong, with a strong focus on women’s and children’s health. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing clinical team.

We are open to casual, permanent part time, or full time arrangements, with remuneration negotiable based on experience and skill set.
About the role
This role is suited to a nurse who enjoys variety, values patient centred care, and thrives in a highly collaborative environment.
The successful applicant will work both independently and alongside our GPs across a broad range of clinical areas including:
- Childhood and adult immunisations
- Women’s health and procedural assistance including IUD insertions
- Treatment room nursing and wound care
- Chronic disease management and care planning
- Health assessments and preventative health
- ECGs, spirometry, and health monitoring
- Infection control and cold chain management
- Medical emergencies and acute presentations
You will also contribute to maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for patients and families. You will participate in quality improvement activities and the ongoing development of clinical systems and workflows, and work collaboratively with GPs, reception staff, and allied health providers to support high quality patient care
What we are looking for
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- A warm, professional, and proactive approach to patient care
Experience in general practice is highly regarded, however nurses from other clinical backgrounds who are eager to transition into primary care are encouraged to apply. Support and training can be provided for the right candidate.
