Neighbourhood Medical is a GP-owned, community-focused practice in Toowong, Brisbane, with a strong and growing reputation for high-quality, patient-centred care. Since it’s opening in 2020 by Dr Nicole White and Dr Sarah McDonnell, Neighbourhood Medical has built a loyal and expanding patient base and has recently relocated to a beautiful, purpose-built clinic designed to support both clinical excellence and practitioner wellbeing.

We are now seeking a passionate and motivated GP to join our close-knit team.

Our practice has an established focus on women’s and children’s health with many of our GPs having additional training and skills in these areas. We are currently looking to grow our paediatric services and would love to hear from GPs with an interest in this area.  We also welcome generalists and those with special interests such as skin, musculoskeletal, or men’s health who are looking to grow their niche within a supportive and well-resourced setting.

As a community-focused practice, we value building long-term relationships with our patients and delivering thoughtful, continuity-driven care. At the same time, we embrace a boutique model of general practice — offering a calm, well-designed environment, strong administrative and nursing support, and the space for GPs to develop their own areas of interest.

Our team is also actively engaged in the broader medical community, with several GPs holding representative and leadership roles, including with Queensland Health and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. This reflects our commitment to ongoing professional development, advocacy, and shaping the future of general practice.
